Somehow chanting seems to conjure up a vision of the first linguists on the planet forming their first songs and I try to imagine what they were first composing. Was it a communique between them and a romantic interest? Where they just so happy they needed to shout. "You know you make me want to shout........Heyea, Heyea...a little bit softer now, a little bit softer now..." Were they actually thinking along religious or spiritual based lines? Or were they merely exercising the vocal cords? Anyways, today, it seems to have probably more significance than when it first came into existance. Wendy probably knows a fair amount about this with her Native American Background. Wendy?

The true chants (and dances) set up a vibration that assists with the aspiration of the dancer or singer.

No Judith, there is Chant 1 and 3. This seems to be the most popular.

Do I hear a wah-wah?

Or maybe not. There is something about this piece that makes me itch.
